From defendant to defender
Finding a good criminal defense attorney who you can relate to and trust can often be a challenge. My entire life experience has provided me with the knowledge, skills and perspective to empathize with and provide well rounded legal advice to clients facing legal challenges here in Gaston County.
Having been involved with the legal system from an early age as a juvenile defendant, and as a convicted felon in adult court, I can personally attest that we humans make mistakes in judgment, that the police sometimes are dishonest when bringing criminal charges against a citizen and that police often violate citizens’ rights. Having received a full pardon for my felony conviction, I fully understand how a criminal conviction can lead to both loss of freedom and future opportunities.
